I was just surfing some good movie info sites such as Link Removed and www.themovieinsider.com and what do you know. I see Dumb and Dumber in the corner of my eye. Ever since I saw that movie I wanted more. More laughs, more footage, more everything.
Now, I'm remembering way back reading an interview between some reporter and Jim/James (whichever floats your boat) Carrey talking about how he doesn't want to revisit any old characters (meaning no more sequels/prequels). So, I was pissed to hell...
Back to the site. The link was something like Dumb and Dumber prequel.

How does this make all you die hard D&D fans (me) feel? New director, new cast. I hate Hollywood, I also "...hate how fake Hollywood is."

This was on Dark Horizons the other day

"Dumb and Dumber 2: The film looks set to be a teen comedy prequel to the original."

Now I kind of like the Original, but if that actually turns out to be true then count me out.

This is a pretty old rumor, though - I remember reading that the South Park guys were working on it just a year or so after the original came out (with the Farrellys set to produce). I'd be pretty shocked if anything came of it.

This is my all time favorite comedy and Jim Carrey movie. I quote it every day. If this wasn't made with Carrey and Jeff Daniels then there is no point. Might as well name it something else and not even associate it with the Dumb and Dumber name.

No Jim Carrey & Jeff Daniels??? How the hell can you call it a Dumb & Dumber movie? Thats just disapointing! I would love to see a true sequel or prequel, with the original cast, but not the studio cashing in on the name.:frowning:
