    Can anyone tell me how the two Anchor Bay versions of DUEL IN THE SUN compare? I have the first, non-special edition which looks fine, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy the SE if it was as good as, say, GARDEN OF ALLAH. Help, please.

    The second dvd release of "Duel in the Sun" is the Road Show version which is about 16 minutes longer.

    Sorry, I should have clarified that I meant I wanted a comparison in terms of color quality, transfer, sound, etc.

    I own both dvds and I prefer the quality of the dvd presentation much better on the second dvd release.

    The second Roadshow version of Duel In The Sun is a clearly improved transfer. If you're a fan of the film, it's a must get.

    I haven't seen the first version, but I cannot imagine it looking better than the second. To be fair, I had never seen the film prior to the second DVD release, but I thought it looked outstanding.
