I know DD calls for two side surrounds, but I just went to DTSonline.com and I noticed that their diagram show the surround speakers in the rear corners... Is this the correct setup for DTS?

The basic configuration for both DD and DTS 5.1 calls for two rear speakers (left and right). In some configurations, these rear speakers are placed at the sides (typically using dipole speakers), but they're still considered rear speakers.
It gets more complicated when you start dealing with specialty items like Dolby Surround EX, DTS-ES or Lexicon Logic7, all of which require additional speakers. But that's another subject altogether.
