Does DTS encoded dvd or cd carry a separate LFE channel

    as Dolby Digital 5.1 does?

Since I have purchased my receiver I have yet to see

a DTS encoded disk have a LFE channnel as Dobly Digital.

Since I have yet to purchase a sub for this unit I cannot

    verify this ?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Receiver Nakamichi AV-10

    Speakers Paradigm Phantoms

    Paradigm CC-170

    Paradigm Titans

Yes, DTS encoded DVDs do have a discrete LFE channel the same as DD5.1. I did not know there were DTS CDs, so I do not know about that.

With a handful of exceptions, nearly all DTS soundtracks on DVD include a discrete LFE channel. Why your equipment isn't indicating this I couldn't say.
