I have a DTS cd version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Does anyone have any info on this? Was it an offical release? It sounds pretty amazing, in my opinion just as good as the SACD version.

    Thanks in advance.

There's various versions floating around, some from quad vinyl, some from quad 8-track. There is no 'one' version.

Oh, and there are versions that were converted from an analog capture of the SACD. Totally bootleg, of course. Some unethical fans want a disc they can play on existing home theater hardware.

From personal observation, I think there is a much higher demand for surround music than high-res music (surround or otherwise).
