    Hey guys,
So I'm trying to design a (relatively inexpensive) center channel and I think I've settled on what drivers to use. I just wanted to put them by you guys to see if there's anything I might be missing. For the woofer I am thinking of using a single Peerless 830377 NOMEX 5" SHEILDED WOOFER, who's specs can be found here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...=297-600&DID=7
For the tweeter I'm thinking the Audax TM025F1, who's specs can be found here: http://www.audax.com/products/details/TM025F1.shtml
I'm thinking of crossing them over somewhere between 2000-3000 Hz, probably closer to thelwer end of that. The enclosure will probably be ported.
So, has anyone used either of these or see a problem with using them together. I appreciate any comments. Thanks
    Chris

    Come on guys... Any comments?

I'm new to this. I just don't want to go ahead and buy something that someone whos done this before could easily tell me isn't going to work well. I would really appreciate any comments.

I don't expect this to be the most fenomenal design, but I'm really interested in this and am just trying to learn as much as I can and hopefully get a better center channel out of it (which shouldn't be hard considering my current CC is a $30 Pioneer).

    Thanks

    Chris

You'll probably have better luck getting some one to help your design the speaker, if you post on the Parts Express forum.
