My Dreamcast died today. It's only 2 months old, it was bought in August as a replacement for the last one that died which was only 9 months old.
Luckily for me, I paid $13 for the Circuit City 2 year warranty that gives me a refund check redeemable for any purchase at Circuit City.
So now my quandry is whether to buy another Dreamcast with the check (I already have about 15 games, but really only play 1 or 2 regularly) or save the money and apply it to a Gamecube purchase in November... I was already strongly considering Gamecube so this is the way I am leaning at this point.
Any input?

I suppose it depends on how much you enjoy playing the games you have for the DC. If you don't think you'll miss the 1 or 2 you're playing regularly, I'd say hold out for GCN or XBox.
The only reason I've been holding onto my own DC was the promise of Shenmue 2, and since that's gone, I expect I'll be phasing my DC out of my home theater setup.

I would save the money for a newer system. The Dreamcast is going to have another price drop later this year. If you really want another one, might as well wait for them to become even cheaper. :)

Steven, good point... I probably will pick up a GameCube in November and hold out for the absolute lowest DC price later, or maybe even pick up a used one after everybody sells theirs to get credit towards a GC or X-Box.
Thanks everyone for the input.
