In your experience have you found that all DC fans make the same noise or have they varied from console to console.
The reason I ask is my buddy has one and his tends to be a bit higher pitched than mine.

If you play a lot of games, the fan sound will probably change a little over time. Compare the sound of your fan to someone who got their DC around the same time and plays the same amount of games. Sega could have also slightly changed the hardware to be better, but I'm not sure.

LOUD Suckers aren't they.

It's probably because they (SEGA) had a problem with overheating DC units. Probably a different fan from the earlier systems.
