I figured they'd wait until the fall to release more Universal monsters so I'm glad to see them earlier.

Presumably, they'll finish off the monsters in HD with The Invisible Man and The Creature From The Black Lagoon sets in September or October.

Wish these were out singly - most of these are already available in Blu on other sets. Only two new titles. Don't know if I'll go for it right now.

Yes, I only really want Son Of Dracula, I have the big set & the Frankenstein set, but I don't mind a doubling up on a few titles, as these sets are not that expensive.

Same thing happened with the wolfman set only 2 new movies. One good and one bad so I passed on that. At least with this one the 2 new movies are both good so I will get this when I see it at an even lower price.
The title of this thread tricked me though I thought they were adding something from the 50's. This set stops at 1948 so the title is in error.

DRACULA'S DAUGHTER is actually quite good also. There are sexual overtones in this film that I am surprised got by the censors.

One could get WEREWOLF OF LONDON and SHE-WOLF OF LONDON separately on Blu from Europe. This is not true of the two Dracula titles heretofore unreleased on Blu - DRACULA'S DAUGHTER and SON OF DRACULA, which are making their worldwide Blu-ray debuts on this set.

The 2 werewolf films are still not available as single titles in the US so I doubt these films will get separate releases either. They are pricing them low so when they are on sale the price of 2 films separate really won't be much of a savings. I was happy with the 2 werewolf films on DVD because I do not care for them that much but both of the new films here are very good.

As the Frankenstein and Wolf Man boxes each had a single disc containing F Meets WM, House of F, and House of D, one wonders if that same disc will be in this set or will they reauthor it to exclude the one title that doesn't feature the vampire?

As a followup to my last post, the back cover art for this is up on Amazon and it does list the Spanish language version of Dracula as being included as an extra.
If the previous sets are any indication. The has been no re-mastering done or the discs that were already released in previous monster sets ....
