Does anyone know where I can find Dr. Seuss books in French? I did a search on Google and came up with nothing. I am specifically looking for "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

    Thanks,

    Vlad

Unfortunately, Dr. Seuss books in French appear to be very rare. I checked amazon.fr, archambault.ca and amazon.ca, and only found "The Cat in the Hat" and "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".

And I can see why too. Much of the Dr. Seuss charm is because of the liberal use of rhyme and alliteration; neither of which translate well to foreign languages. Though French and English share many words, Le Chat Dans Le Chapeau just doesn't have the right ring.

I had a feeling that I might be out of luck.

I guess the charm of his books would be lost in translation.

    Thanks guys
