DPL2 in Gamecube (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
Well I just got my new home theater setup.

Anyhows my Pioneer 811 has support for DPL2.
Do I have to do anything other than connect my Gamecube
to the receiver to get the 5.1 effect?
I have Rogue Leader to try it out with.
Any advice appreciated.

you only need to connect the cube to the receiver, and turn on the surround sound option in any game that supports it. but dont expect dolby digital quality.

It's pretty darn close though. You'll also need to set the surround option on your receiver.

Just set the receiver to Movie mode in Prologic II, that should do it. I have the same receiver, and Rogue Leader is amazing on it. Just go to the sound test with the TIE fighter to hear the setup.
