I've noticed in a couple of posts that you have mentioned leaving one of the coils open on your DPL12s to raise the QTC, with EQ advantages

At the moment I have the coils on mine in parallel, and then the two drivers in parallel., per side.

What is the advantage of leaving a coil open given I can actively EQ, if any? And do you just mean not connecting he wire?

    Cheers

Thanks. I did some experimenting and it might just be easier to wire the coil in series and then parallel to the amp. It appears I have headroom to spare.

One of other question though, are you having any problems with lead slap?
