You need to give the series another chance. I think it's one of the best series ever to appear on TV. If you give it an honest chance, I think you'll get hooked.

Huge DTA fan, watched every episode and have them all on BD. We saw the movie last week and it did a great job of tying up loose ends from the TV series. I am not a TV series fan, but this one my wife got me hooked on.

I thought the movie was perfect and better than any other TV series turned into a movie. The audience response was great too- clapping at the end.
And the star of course is Highclere Castle and it’s photographed beautifully.

Saw it again with a friend who hadn't seen it last night . Someone popped some kind of bubbly when the lead in music started! and the audience wa scrapping art every scene- on a Tuesday night. It was even better the second time- great fun!
