I found some online retailers are posting the artwork for The Doris Day Show Complete Collection. I bought each individual season of the Doris Day Show. I like the packaging on the individual sets. Unlike Family Affair (which was also released by MPI), the Doris Day Show didn't come in a clamshell case, but in a gatefold wallet style with slip cover. Each season had a different picture of Doris, unlike Family Affair which used the same picture for all 5 seasons.

I also liked the season sets. The artwork was well done and thought out for each season, unlike the "Family Affair" sets. So unless there's remarkable bonus content, I'll pass on this. (The bonus content on the season sets was pretty great.)

Well of course they had to use different pictures for each season; each season was practically a completely different show!

I hope they will release any new bonus material on a seperate disc for those of us who bought all the season sets. I have finished quite a few series by buying season sets and I can't afford to buy all the complete series sets as well.

Indeed. I buy the season sets as they come out and don't wish to be penalized for it with a full series release with extra stuff.

I hope the complete series' new extras are what will be appearing on the stand-alone disc of Christmas episodes that comes out at about the same time. That way those of us who bought season sets will be covered if we pick up that one disc.

this show is a good example about why I don't buy the bigger companies excuses about "poor sales". The entire Doris Day series came out and we're talking a show that had been missing from reruns for 20-25 years and had very little DVD fanfare, but yet MPI saw fit to finish the series and add a lot of extras on top of that. If this show which is practically unknown to viewers under 35 could be a success for MPI while being loaded with extras, I fail to believe the "we lost money" BS that Sony and Fox pulls on shows with minimal music rights and zero bonus features.
