While perhaps not as excited for the movie as you are, I agree that I am tired of the cynicism that seems to have become a requirement for movies today. Everyone today has to have angst, and the world is always a terrible and dirty place. Perhaps that is true, but I feel as Don Quixote felt the maddest of all is to see life as it is and not as it should be.

I too hope that more movies with positive messages and just plain fun are made.

In the meantime I will continue to enjoy my 1930's and 40's B movies.
