You see the Brazil: Criterion Collection set for $19.99. You know it's a mistake. Should you A. Buy it at that price or B. Inform the managers of the store and buy it instead for either $44.99-$59.99 dollars. I had this interesting conversation with a friend of mine, who's name I shall not speak since mentioning it would probably get me banned from HTF. [IMG]

If you do inform the management of their mistake, they might just let you either have it at that price or give it to you at a price much lower than MSRP. Plus you don't have to deal with any guilt. But it's your call... [IMG]

Do what I do take that price sticker and stick it on the Pioneer 533 and try to buy it.

I'd do what I've always done - inform a store employee of the mistake. However, if they'll let me buy it at that price, I will, so long as they're aware of it.

Where's option D) You already own Brazil: Criterion Collection? [IMG]
In my opinion, I'd most likely not tell Best Buy about their mistake and just buy the DVD for that price. I've done it before (I bought a copy of Phenomena at $17 while all other copies had it at $24), and I'd most likely do it again.

Call me unscrupulous, but I'd get it at the price on the sticker. I buy so much from places like Best Buy, I feel that occasionally they owe me one. [IMG]

    C) Convince yourself that it's not really a mistake, they just recently lowered the price dramatically. It could be true!

Definitely depends on the store. I picked up the Dogma SE from Blockbuster at the same price as the regular edition. If it had been a locally owned store or small chain or even a store which does not pose a threat to my hobby (which is why I felt guilty giving Blockbuster ANY money, even I was getting a bargain), I would call it to someone's attention.
