I gave this disc a quick spin recently (due to all of the new found interest this thread has generated), and I must say I forgot how many scenes had the microphones lowering into the picture - hilarious!

It may be due to the mattes being removed for 1.85:1 framing (the DVD is fullscreen).

MAD TV did a skit based on the Dolemite films, and it was spot on hilarious.

All the quotes are great guys, I didn't think this thread would get this much usage. See, there is a market out there for new Dolemite DVDs (all be it a small one, but never the less).
