I read some past posts and some information on the web about Dolby Headphones. It seems that If I use my PC and its DVD player and install Power DVD software I can get "simulated" 5.1 digital Dolby sound using standard headphones and many reviews I have read states that this really works
Now my question. I have a 53hs10 sony and would hate to watch DVD's on my PC. Having a headphone system would solve my night time viewing problem. Is there a way to play a DVD in my DVD player but route the sound to the input on the PC soundcard and plug my headphones into the PC and get the Dolby Headphone capability (using the Power DVD software).
    Anyone???

I think you probably know that Sony makes a standalone Dolby Digital Headphone system. You just have to connect the digital bitstream from your DVD player to it. It is a wireless headphone setup. It's very pricy though, like $500.
