Dolby Digital Question for Denon 3803 owners. (1 Viewer)

When I play my XBOX and I'm playing a game that supports Dolby 5.1, I can't get the sound to play through the receiver. The light telling me that there is a Dolby source is on, but no sound comes at all no matter if I have the surround mode on Dolby Digital, DTS, or 5 channel stereo. Anyone know any fixes to this??

Normally these game consoles have to have DTS and DD enabled somewhere in their setup menu.

Yes, I enabled them, that is how I got the source light to come on the receiver. But, no sound!

Do you have the Xbox hooked up with an optical cable and the advanced AV pack?

Try a processor reset. That usually fixes a lot of wierd issues.
