On my denon, I have different selections for my rear surrounds. I have two speakers driven by seperates amps. I can select: off, ex, , pro logic 2, 1 speaker. I have two connected, what is the difference between ex and pro logic 2? I mean, in the rear channel, since there's only one signal designated to it (I'm talking 6.1 dts or dd ex),what is the difference? I do not notice a difference in the two rear surrounds in ex or pro logic 2. It freaked me out when i got it, cause i didn't read my manuel, and that was the default, and didn't realize the +dpl2 was for the rears. It was wierd, but now that I understand it, what's the difference in the two? just curious

So it basically just splits the rears into 4 channels of audio instead of 2 or 3. I really don't notice a difference between ex and dpl2x though. Anyway, thanx for the link.;)
