Your Wega is a tube television, only rear and front projection TVs need worry, and these days that concern is not too prevalent either.

I have been playing video games on my RPTV for the last 3 years, no problems at all. My set is calibrated with AVIA and I usually go down a few more notches from calibrated levels on the CONTRAST just to be safe.

I play from 2-6 hours in one sitting on occassion. I never leave the game unattended in PAUSE mode, thats a NO NO.

I have played the following systems on my RPTV:

    PlayStation

    PlayStation 2

    Nintendo 64

    Again...no problems.

Just be sure to turn your contrast level slightly below the midway point.

Having the contrast level too high will surley cause burn-in...I've seen it happen...not a pretty sight!
