Does your collection have more box sets or just individual movies? Usually, I see people with mostly movies. But, my collection has more box sets (tv shows, movies, etc.) than just individual movies. I guess I just have a thing for sets. I dont know.
Individual movies mostly I don't have the patience to wait for movies to be grouped into box sets (which usually happens after the discs have been out for some time), even though it would have saved me money. I don't collect TV shows on DVD, but there are a couple season sets (Python, Soprano's, etc.) I've been thinking of getting & I'd be interested in Star Trek TOS if offered in season sets. I own a few complete Anime series but I purchased the discs individually before the Boxed sets were offered.
I don't have time to go through and count right now, but no doubt individual movies. It's a simple matter of supply. While dozens of box sets I want have been released (and I've bought them all), hundreds and hundreds of movies I want have been released, and I've bought them all too.
Box sets: 18 (Indiana Jones, Alien, BTTF, Star Trek: TNG 1-7, DS9 1-4 and 6, Smallville Season 1, Real World Season 1, Spider-Man MTV Season 1) Individual movies: too many to count
