Does this render the DVI-only thing moot? (1 Viewer)

I was looking for possible ways to circumvent the DVI-only nonsense, and could not find anything promising, Any ideas?

Shush! Don't talk about this, don't bring it up again! Yes, it does what it says. Is it legal? Is it within the rules? My opinion on this isn't worth much, but I can make a pretty good guess.

If you want to know more, search for "Dtronics" on the AVS Forum. And it isn't the only option or the best, although, so far, it's the cheapest.
