...or does it have some new DVDs?

I know that all the films are currently released separately, did they just add a Box Wrapper -or???

A search here revealed pre-ordering information -but no technical information.

    Thanks,

I'm pretty sure they are the same discs that were previously available.

    They're the same discs.

A funny thing, however - I know someone who bought this set, and his DVD case for Seven Samurai is the first edition case (we compared it with my disc and with pictures online)! The disc inside, however, is only the standard edition (without the restoration demo).

I picked this set up as I had none of the films yet. I noticed that the photographs on the sleeve for Seven Samurai are *extremely* pixilated. This includes both the front cover photo as well as the 3 or 4 smaller on the rear. You can hardly even tell what the photographs are of. I've seen the sleeve on non-box set version and it does not look this way. Unfortunately.... no restoration demo to be seen on the disc itself.

Heh... maybe this box set was just a convenient way to unload all those extra covers they had left over from the aborted first printing of Seven Samurai.
