Does the Reg. 2 German version of Dune 2000 really contain extra footage? (1 Viewer)

Just curious! I had heard from several sources that the Reg. 2 German version of Dune 2000 contains about 30 minutes of extra footage not included in the Reg. 1 version. I have the German version, and it clocks in at 273 minutes. Most sites are listing the Reg. 1 version at 295. I know about the PAL speed-up issue, but doesn't seem like it would account for the big difference! (The German version does have a great anamorphic picture & 5.1 sound!)

I don't know the answer to your question, but can you let me know where you ordered it from (if an on-line vendor). I live in the UK and would like to get my hands on it as it's not been released here yet.
