Does the 43TX and 45TX accept spades for speaker connections?

I'm getting ready to purchase either the Pioneer Elite 43TX or 45TX. I'm also in the process of building some DIY speaker cables. I've already terminated the speaker end of the cables with spades. I'm waiting on terminating the receiver end of cables depending on whether or not the receivers i'm looking at accept spades. If it doesn't accept spades, i'm going to need to find banana plugs that will fit on 6awg stranded coper cable.

    Thanks [IMG]

No, there are plastic guards that would prevent full contact with spades. Banana plugs are gonna be the way to go with those models.

Thanks for the quick response... only problem is the only banana plugs i've been able to find to fit 6awg cable cost $14.44 EACH.

    Thanks,
