"Combat!" I thought was license to Image from Sony, but I did some digging at TVShowsOnDVD and it was Buena Vista that Image got the license to release "Combat!". So my question is, has Sony ever licensed any of their series to Image Home Entertainment?

No. Image is putting out Naked City but they licensed it from Herbert B. Leonard, not Sony. Sony has never licensed any of their television properties out.

They did, at one time, license "Get a Life" to Rhino, however.

Sony may have also licensed seasons 3 and 4 of Punky Brewster to Shout! Factory. (Shout! has said they will be releasing these seasons, and all signs currently point to them obtaining the rights from Sony)

I believe Shout Factory is owned by Sony.

Shout! Factory is actually independently owned, but their products are distributed by Sony Music (the same arm of the company that releases Bullwinkle, Underdog, etc.), so they'd have the connections if they did license Punky Brewster.
