Does my television support progressive scan? (1 Viewer)

I apologize for this humble and ignorant question:

Am I right in assuming that if I own a non-XBR series WEGA (which I do, 32FV27,) there is no way that I can take advantage of progressive scan?

Other than the anamorphic squeeze (which is quite nice), is there no other resolution/video support for my TV??

Joseph,
Unfortunately, you are correct - your Wega (although a very nice tube) will not support progressive scan. Sorry:frowning:

Thanks! That's what I thought. I was just following through on a comment made in another thread about 480p cabability not being 'high end.' Judging from the considerably higher XBR price tag, I guess 'high end' is subjective. :)
Thanks again.
