    Hey guys,

I'm building a vented Shiva EBS sub. I'm going to be using the FP4 port tube in it and the port will be horizontal (forward firing). Will it need to be supported inside the box, or is the port stiff enough to just be mounted to the front baffle?

    Thanks for your help,

    Chris

    Oops,

Forgot to mention that the port will use the full 12" center tube.

    Chris,

I don't think there's any real need to add any support. The port is pretty lightweight, at least compared to an equivalent length of 4" PVC. I'd think the screws holding it in place would be more than enough support.

I would like to nominate this was one of the unintentionally funny thread titles of the year. [IMG]
