I'm just curious if anyone knows if "The Junction Boys" will be released on DVD? This movie about Paul Bear Bryant will premiere this saturday.

I have never seen any of them. I wouldn't mind picking them up. I believe "Junction Boys" is only their second film right? I also would love to see them put out the entire set of "The Season" they have been running on SEC Football, its an awesome series.

Their first original movie, "A Season on the Brink" was released on DVD today by Trimark. It premiered back in March, I believe, so that's about a 9-month wait. "The Junction Boys" is their second original film, so I'd expect that in the 2nd half of 2003, assuming "Brink" sells relatively well.

Note that, IIRC, "A Season on the Brink" was aired in widescreen but the DVD is being released 1.33:1, from everything I've read.

I believe it aired in widescreen as well, but I can't confirm that.

According to this review, the disc is presented in 1.66:1 non-anamorphic widescreen.
