Not likely. There are no players anywhere near that price range that have bass management for DVD-A.

Isn't this player related to one of the 45a or the 47ai? Just without SACD?

FWIW, both of these players do have BM on DVD-A 2.0, but not for DVD-A 4.0, and 5.1 is probable (because it's not so easy to test for).

There's an old thread here on those 2 players anyway...
