Component cables are for video only. They do not carry audio signals. Only HDMI cables carry both audio and video.

OT: I believe that they used to make component cable sets with fourth and fifth wires (also with RCA plugs), for video and stereo (nowadays aka 2.0) audio.

A so called RGBHV cable set has five lines and will work for this purpose but a specific component video 'cum' audio cable set will usually not work for RGBHV or VGA due to lesser bandwidth of the audio lines.
