A *much* better D&D film than the New Line D&D film that was out last year, DragonSlayer should have come out on DVD then as a natural cash-in. It's one of my favorite films of all time, and star Peter MacNichols is currently on one of the most popular TV shows around right now, Ally McBeal.
I looked at the IMDB to see who might possibly be involved in this, and it's just a mess. Paramount, Disney, and Columbia all seem to have had a hand in this title! So I don't know where the right lie.
Anyone else out there know? Anyone else want this puppy?

This was one of titles put forward during Martin Blythe's 'want' poll a while back. I believe the possibility of releasing Dragonslayer is currently being investigated.

But what I presume WILL happen is that the amount of detail will be improved over the very too-dark laser disc, which at least was widescreen.
