I own the lousy Sony transfer of this film, and would like to buy Second Sight's. Could anyone tell me what the Second Sight film looks like?

Well, it costs practically nothing at Amazon UK, is anamorphic and looks 100% improved over the letterboxed Sony edition. Unless you are Russian, PAL speedup will not be an issue.
