What's new

Does anyone know if Bjork will be releasing a new DVD soon? (1 Viewer)

I was kinda hoping to see a concert DVD done somewhat like NIN's with DD 5.1, DTS, and commentary.

I guess in the meantime I can pick up "Volumen", her collection of videos. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Not one, but THREE, possibly four. There are three that are coming out for sure:

Live at Cambridge (1998)

Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire (1997) - previously out on VHS

MTV Unplugged (1991)/MTV Live (1998)

The R0/NTSC versions are coming out 02/19/2002. They have been out in R0/PAL for a few months now, I actually picked them up then to play on my Malata since they had explicitly said there would be no NTSC versions. But it looks like they changed their mind. In addition, Bjork just announced this week she will release the concert she played at the London Opera House in late 2001 on DVD within the next few months. And just for completeness sake, she already has the following titles out on DVD:

Volumen (available in all regions PAL/NTSC)

All is Full of Love DVD single (R1/NTSC or R2/PAL)

Hidden Place DVD single (R1/NTSC or R2/PAL)

Pagan Poetry DVD single (R2/PAL only)

She is one artist who obviously loves DVD and I think it is great!

Oh, and to answer your other questions, all three coming out are in stereo only...no 5.1 surround or commentary. Aspect ration is full screen, just as filmed. But still very nice titles.
