If so, how do you like it? I read on another site that it there may be an issue w/ registering it?? I don't have another utility type software so I opted for the 2004 version instead of the 2003 version.

An issue? Funny way of putting it. Yeah, it couldn't find its own site, so I had to go to their main page. Then I tried it again and it went just fine.

I read that for the 2004 version Norton is doing mandatory registration, like Windows XP?

Yes, it uses product activation and is linked to the machine it installs on. In reality, the reason for this is (a) Norton AV 2003 was heavily pirated and (b) people would upon re-format reinstall their Norton and walla! the "1 year of updates" would start the clock over; so if you had Norton AV 2003, and your machine had been running for 9 months, you format and re-install, bam! You've now got another 12 months of AV updates [IMG] So you get 21 instead of 12, and so on [IMG]
