I was just wondering if it's not time for Universal to hire or assign someone the task of DVD fanatics consumer liaison like Mr. Staddon or Mr. Blythe.
I mean, maybe they do read here, but it would be nice to know for sure....

In a perfect world, we would have reps from Universal, Warner Bros., Disney, etc. giving us enough information to defuse the anticipation and frustration felt by so many members of these forums. As Sept. 11 would indicate, this is not a perfect world.

Sorry, but if I were Universal, I would not punish one of my staff members with the assignement to attend the HTF.
No other studio have done so.
Some enthusiastic studio reps have become a member here, but if you just look how some other members are treating them... requesting titles over and over again, bumping up threads with a specific person's name in it, "demanding" answers, even calling them names... .
It's actually a shame, and I have the greatest respect and sympathy for those still staying here and going on replying to reasonable questions, although of course they are under no obligation at all to do so.
