Is there anyone else from Ohio (specifically Cleveland) that remembers:
Dog & Suds fast food restaurants?
It was a drive up place that served hot dogs and root beer?
Halle's Department Store
Located in Downtown Cleveland? (Halle Berry was named after it.) In the winter, my mother would take me there to see Santa and "Mr. Jingaling" (who also had a TV Show and gave out magic keys). "A Christmas Story" was filmed there as well.
The Ghoul [post Ghoulardi]
This guy hosted late-night scary B-movies and blew up things/plastic "froggies" with cherry-bombs. Wore a fright wig, an eyepatch, a moustache and goatee, and a long lab coat???
It's a boring night here at work, and we're talking about things from our childhood that we remember (just barely).

The Ghoul was broadcast in the Detroit area as well on the weakest UHF channel imaginable. I spent many a Friday night as a kid waiting for midnight to roll around and the Ghoul to come on the air. He still makes promotional appearance now and then and it's a kick to see his name pop up in the newspaper.

Michael, the last time I saw the Ghoul, he was judging a Halloween Costume Contest at a Cleveland area nightclub. I was dressed as Cleopatra, and I have a photo of him on the podium while I walked down the stage.
Grant, was it "who stole the Kieska, someone call the cops?"
Never did know what that was anyway. I remember seeing some of the best "B" horror movies on that late night show like "House of Wax" with Vincent Price, "Murder at the Rue Morgue" (?) or something like that. Had many, many pajama parties during those days, seeing who could stay up latest.
