Does anybody have the 2531 PCi tuned to 22 hz? (1 Viewer)

How does it sound? Why did you go this route instead of 2039 PCi? What advantage/ disadvantage does this setup have over the straight 2531 PCi? Thanks.

I have a 25-31PCi tuned to 22Hz shipping to me. Haven't received it yet, but am anxious to try it.

I went with this for a couple of reasons:
1) Size
2) Mostly a music system with limted HT. Maybe 70/30%. Therefore I wanted bass with *punch* that the 25-31 is known for.
3) My room is not huge and Tom @ SVS thinks I can still get 20Hz extension with a 25-31 (22hz).
4) Cheaper.

The above thread had some good info about reasons for 22hz.

Thanks for the replies....Eric talked me out of the 2531 and into the 2039 PCi. Can't wait for it to arrive!
