I have one of those free passes that came with my MI DVD. Does AMC accept these? They are not listed on the back?

    Thanks for any feedback,

    Jason

If they aren't listed then you probably can't use them. Anyway, free passes are mostly unusable in the first week or two a movie is released.

That is not correct about them being unusable in the first week or two of release. I've used several of those free passes that came with purchased dvds over the last couple of years and every one of them I used in the first two weeks of release.

For some "movie cash" promotions, there is a valid use period (and it's usually within a 2-3 week window, so don't dawdle!).

Yes, including the one I used last night for MI3.

    Robert,

Are you referring to the one you got from the MI DVD? The one I have expires on the 14th or thereabouts. I don't know why they (AMC) would not take it; it is a bankable check.

I've used these before, just not at AMC.

Yes, that's the one I used last night. I don't know why AMC which used to be listed on such movie coupons beforehand are no longer on them now.

I used it at an AMC theater yesterday, but it's one that still has a big "Loews Theaters" sign out front (despite all the signage inside saying "AMC"). I haven't tried them at the AMC that used to be a GCC, but former Loews theaters at least are still honoring them.

Well, crud. Since the movie cash didn't have AMC listed on the back, I took it to a Regal. I just checked the above website, and the AMC is listed.

My local AMC wouldn't take it - had to go to Consolidated instead. I hate that - I want my Moviewatcher points, dammit!
