I know that it has the Virtual HD modes (which I can never see any difference between), but does this set have an actual line doubler built into the chassis? I am looking at getting a DVDO line doubler to help improve my satellite picture. Also, 2 questions:

    1. Where is a good place to get an AVIA disk?

    2. Anyone know of a place to purchase an "RGB breakout cable" for a DVDO?

    Thanks for any help,
    Shawn

You hitachi has a line doubler-it displays in 540p or 1080i only. I dont know much about external line doublers, but I would venture to say getting a DVDO for your hitachi would be pretty much useless-unless you can set the DVDo to output 540p or 1080i-then the hitachi wont touch the signal. Maybe somebody who is more experienced with external line doublers can help better than I.
