Let's hope this one is as good as the old 8-bit version.

Nothing like beating guys with giant mellons into little angels to brighten up your day

The moment I read this news I already couldn't wait for it to come out. But who's the developer that's making it? Some Canadian crew I've never heard of. I hope they go back to the deformed characters of the NES version...it's much funnier beating the trash out of them than the new GBA anime fellows. I like to hit them from behind when they're panting....ahahaha.

Yeah! This is great great news. I haven't played the 8-bit version in years and I don't have a GBA...yet. This game could be a blast, if done right. Especially w/ a multi-tap and a group of pals. Thanks for the info!

Jason, from what I read this will have online capabilities, so finding a group of pals to bomb-bard should be no problem.

This game would be a "must have" with online play. This is becoming on of my most anticipated without even viewing a screenshot.

This could have online play too? That would be terrific. Other than this game I've yet to see a killer app for Sony's online launch. I know Twisted Metal Black will have an add-on disc to play online, but the game will still be a few months old by then. Sega had NFL2K1 as its killer app, followed by NBA2K1, Quake, Phantasy Star...etc. In other words, I've been less than impressed with Sony's approach towards gaming on the 'net.
But if this game does in fact include online play, I'll have to make sure and get a modem for the PS2.
