My high school grades were so so due to my absolute hatred of homework, I figured that I was in school to do the crap and should not have to take more home with me and it reflected in my grades
I flunked out of college after switching to pre-engineering after a year of badgering by my dad
I have a great work ethic, I am never late to work, I do my job correctly, but I also have a job that quits as soon as I walk out the door (building maintenance for the post office) it pays pretty good
I am sick an tired of job limits based on so called education and not your actual ability to do the job.
I have worked for a couple of morons with degrees who had no clue as to how to do their job but got it because they had a degree
I quit my job at Greyhound because they hired some total paper-pushing arrogant brown-nosing yes man with a masters degree in some touchy feely background and he had no clue what he was doing in the transportation field, had never worked in it but he was now terminal manager and decided to re-arrange the driving schedules (our bid routes) so that seniority was basically nullified as to our pay, he tried to make all the bids pay about the same, in doing this he seriously compromised the lives of the passengers (and the drivers) by making us work all 3 shifts each week, it was technically legal by federal hours of service and that is all that he looked at, he never took into account the fact that it is really hard for anyone to maintain such a schedule while driving a bus in which we were not even allowed to have a radio to listen to
after a couple of months of this (and several near misses) I quit greyhound and went back to truck driving where I could at least pull over when I got tired instead of having to put people lives in danger due to some moron with a masters degree
Yes, I at one time in my high school career failed English, I hated giving speeches and writing in general, and teachers hate run-on sentences, even if they are grammatically correct.
