I think the problem with most comentaries is one person saying how great this person is or how they couldn't do the show without them. Example - I gave up listeing to CSI and CSI Miami comentaries. Who wants to go throught an episode hearing how great David Caruso or William Peterson is. The only time I watch commentaries is after viewing the episode if its interesting.( X- files)
I watch everything and listen to all the commentaries. The only exception I'll make is screenplays or scripts. I don't have that kind of patience. If it came in a paper form, I might, but not on my TV.
I never cared for any of the CSI shows, but I've seen clips of them here and there and you're absolutely right. They should have included a CSI Miami commentary by Caruso (if there is one) saying what a bitch Kim Delaney was to work with. That would be more interesting!
