Amazon added a page earlier in the year for it in its DVD section. Just do a search for "monster squad" in the dvd section.

It would be great if Monster Squad finally came out. Hopefully Lions Gate now owns the rights and can relese it.

Funny though I don't remember where I heard it but someone told me after watching Monster Squad on the Voom channel Sony's name comes up. Could Sony own it?

Sony probably still has the TV rights to THE MONSTER SQUAD, but not home video rights. Many times when studios do negative pickups, some rights will be sold separately or last longer than others.
