With the release of several bass-intensive dvd's recently,
I was thinking of using a FMOD crossover from partsexpress to protect my SVS.
By the way, I have the 20-39 CS+ calibrated at 85dB using Avia.
Are there any SVS owners using something like this?
    Thanks,
    Ray

I use the ART-351 EQ with my 20-39CS+, primarily to tame room peaks... but with the added benefit of having a subsonic filter to protect my sub when playing at high levels. Some of these recent DVD's really put your gear to the test, but at least the subsonic filtering helps.

the fmod is only a 6 db xover you might want to try to use 2 or 3 to get a higher slope.
