I was putting a new Toilet Paper roll on the roll when my wife told me to turn it around so that it was rolling off from the front. I asked her why and she gave me some BS reason. [IMG]
So does it matter which way you put it? I cant see any reason other then just its the way you prefer [IMG]

This was a "big topic" on the Oprah show a long time ago, and I'd care not to discuss it since I saw that show, scared me for life.

I put it OVER. It's easier to get that way. If you put it under, then you have to reach under and find it and it's a real PITA. So, I put it over.

I asked my dog and he said it was MUCH easier for him to grasp the free end (and then run through the house) if it was over.

Supposedly the more "well to do" people have it hanging "over", whereas lower income people have it "under".
Yes, I am serious. Someone actually did a study! [IMG]

LOL Jim[IMG] Indeed, the front makes the most sense. Easier to reach than going all the way under the roll.

Girls have to have it over for some reason. I personally don't care but women are different and things like this matter to them.

Under! If I'm in a house that has it running over, I make sure to switch it when I'm doing my business. [IMG]

Has to be under. Mike you rock, I always switch them to under when I get the chance. (My wife and I have are our own bathrooms hers is over mine is under...unless one of us uses the others then we switch them just to piss each other off!!)[IMG]
They did a huge survey and found something like 78% of the population likes it over.
According to friend who is professional cleaner you put it over in high traffic area because it is more hygenic, soem people with dirty hands(Jan H :b ) scratch around looking for it and there is the possibility of germy transfer.
    I use a stand so that isn't a problem.
Remember "JUST SAY NO TO OVER" you to can do your part!
