How many of you like to take the tops off your various pieces of equipment--receivers, televisions, DVD players, etc.--just to look around and see what it all looks like in there? I admit that I like to do this. I have a fascination with electronics and like to look at it all. I realize it probably voids the warranty, though, but I've always wondered if they can really tell if you've opened it or not.
So, do you like to take a look at the guts of your equipment?

Well, I opened up my TV for calibration purposes, and I built my last 3 (and one more this weekend) computers. So, I would say I also have a fascination with how things work.

OK, I'll give you that one, but for clarification, I meant just to look around, not to actually fix something or calibrate something or for any serious, practical purpose. I like to look inside just to see what's there. [IMG]
