I always watch the beginning credits, but only watch the ending credits if I want some info about the movie, or there are outtakes or something. There was a John Candy movie (can't remember the name) where he thought Canada and the USA were at war. There was a good line in the ending credits of this movie. I laughed right out loud, people around me had no idea what was going on.
