    Well I do.
Today I picked up 3 flawless brand new looking DVD's with no scratches and perfect covers for $20, I got:
    City of Angels
    Friday
    Almost Famous
Last week I got Braveheart(perfect condition) and The Perfect Storm(perfect condition) for $10 each.
I check the pawn shops regularly because sometimes they have some Gems.
1 pawn shop sells them for $8 a piece or 3 for $20. The rest are $10 each or 3 for $25.
You just have to be careful because they will sell a $9.44 Wal Mart DVD for $10
The pawn shop has become an excellent, affordable place for me to pick up normally $20 to $25 DVD's for half price or less. But I only buy if they are in pristine shape.
I admit it I am anal about my DVD's and CD's being in perfect shape!
    How about you?

I've done the same. A bargain is a bargain, right.
Alas, the second hand CD places usually get better stuff than the pawn shops around here...and there's not much savings to be had there.

I never check pawn shops, but I do by a lot of my DVDs used at the second-hand CD stores. They are always $14.99 or less (non box sets) and they are all in great shape.
I've found some real bargains, too. Clerks for $9.99. Recently, I found the Halloween Limited Edition for $14.99.

As for the bad rap about the characters--hey, I've seen space operas that put their emphasis on human personalities and relationships. They're called "Star Trek" movies. Give me transparent underwater cities and vast hollow senatorial spheres any day. --Roger Ebert on The Phantom Menace

Tom I think your missing out on some potential bargains by not at least looking!
I mean you can visually inspect it to make sure it's in perfect shape and if something goes wrong with it they will refund your money or give you another DVD of your choice.
    Worth a look, that's all I'm sayin'!!
Didn't Wal Mart have that Halloween for 14.96? That's where I got mine and thats what I paid.
In my part of Montana we don't have CD/DVD second hand stores [IMG]

I bought Dragon's Lair used from a store for $10 in nice condition. (Sorry, no pawn shops around me have DVDs)
Very good considering those damn "Game DVDs" are usually $29+.
